Noah's Ark
In art class, kindergarten looked at the artwork of Edward Hicks called "Noah's Ark." The children were familiar with the story of Noah's Ark. In class we discussed how God made animals alike and different and gave them special names. We also discussed the weather that is portrayed in the print. They learned that the prints we look at in class are not the real thing, just a copy of a painting that is hanging in a museum. The children were then able to make their own picture of Noah's Ark.
